Math department dressed up with a Shrek thing, English was clowns, Social Studies was pirates….. Today has been pretty awesome :)

I am constantly relieved that I know what I want to do with my life.
I am relieved that I have always had this passion, and always had teachers who pushed me farther.
If I didn’t…. I’d be like so many people, who don’t even know what they want in life, and all they know is that they need a 4.0 to find out.

WOW today was tough musically...
In band, we recorded for Disney, and we did the Holst aka massive Vinny solo, which was REALLY stressful, and then for Men’s Chorus, Joe can’t sing so it was like…okay, time for Le Miz… aka MORE Vinny solo, except in a register that I can’t sing in. Ho lee crap.

Starting off strong in less than two weeks….. great.
Out of these schools, I like UNH and Hartt.
BU…. I hate cities.
Ithaca…. my mom will only let me go that far away if nobody else accepts me.

I love when my quintet coach can't go to...
Because naturally, everybody turns and stares at me. I am then stuck picking what we work on, figuring out what’s wrong, fixing it, and then deciding what we do next. Literally, EVERY time we finished a piece or movement, everybody turned and looked at me. Pressure at its best. :P

All of that stress was unnecessary- Hartt will not take me for Education and Composition.
UNH just keeps looking better and better, and Hartt just keeps looking worse and worse.
So my Hartt application is due two weeks earlier...
Yeah, Naviance lied. (Naviance is the stupid program EO makes us use for college crap) Now, I have a week and a few days left to write this thing. If I have to submit scores with it….. then I am SCREWED.
Time to get cranking on my scores.

I need a theme to compose about.
I want to write a multiple-movement piece for a large ensemble, whether it be a band or orchestra.
However, it’s hard to write multiple movements without a guiding theme… an example being a storm…. you have powerful movements, the calm in the center, and then it gets to its worst….
The storm theme is overdone, so I’m looking for a new idea…. all ideas are very...

I got internet on my iPod, and got really excited….. and then I couldn’t open Tumblr. Not okay.
Also, my school’s Tri-M (music department honor society) needs to learn that a “quarterly Tri-M event” is not going to a French dinner and performing. Buttttttt that’s what happens when all four officers are in French.
